My interest in health goes back to high school when I considered a career in nursing. A guidance counselor steered me into Medical Technology. I pursued this career and graduated from college with a B.S. in Medical Technology. After receiving a “new arm” from a chiropractor who successfully treated my chronic elbow tendinitis, I became very interested in his occupation. I subsequently started my second career at the age of 28 in Portland, Oregon, where I graduated with a doctorate in Chiropractic.

During my four-year education in Chiropractic,I became passionately interested in alternative methods for health care. Exposure to research and lectures on all aspects of alternative health care, including the non-pharmacologic components for treatment, was fascinating to me. Since personally pursuing this alternative approach, it became apparent that I was in a field where I could utilize both my medical background and my Chiropractic knowledge to help patients with all kinds of needs.

This holistic approach is the one I’ve wholeheartedly come to embrace with more conviction daily! The best feature is seeing evidence of application providing exciting and sometimes unexpected results!!
